Hebburn Helps Community Food Bank and Crisis Response Team are a Voluntary Community Organisation that was set up to help local families who are finding it hard and are struggling to make ends meet.

We provide food parcels, adults clothing, kids clothing, baby equipment, toys, household items and more.

Hebburn Helps started in June 2015 and so far has helped individuals and families from our region in their time of need.

We are always looking for donations of food, clothes and anything else that others can use.

We appreciate everything that we receive, no matter how small it is, to us it is a big deal.

Milo’s Story

Milo was born with a very rare – less than 10 cases worldwide – degenerative disease which has been named M3HBA. He is also registered blind, with scoliosis, suffers seizures, respiratory problems and has no fine or gross motor control. We care for him 24/7 as he is unable to eat, talk, sit or hold his own weight.

Everyone who meets this amazing little hero feels his joy and he truly uplifts them and brightens their day. He is a true inspiration and no matter what he is suffering with physically, long hospital stays and painful procedures, he never stops smiling.

We are inspired by him every day and he motivates us to do as much as we can to give him the best life possible. We also want to do what we can to help other families with soldiers like Milo.

What is Mission Milo?

The ultimate aim of Mission Milo is to raise enough money to run a fully adapted holiday caravan to be used by families like ours, who cannot take their children abroad and who need specialist equipment to enjoy a holiday, even in the UK.

We are honoured by each and every person who contributes to Mission Milo, whether it is a share, a post, a donation or taking on a challenge.
